I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. What The Shelter Says About Me: Lydia is a bundle of - curiosity! She enjoys being petted but is not yet fond of being held. She will go stiff and wiggle to get down. Even if they have spent kittenhood at a shelter in a small crate at a shelter without much opportunity to run and play, Lydia and her twin brother, Lyndon are stealthy and fast! Open their kennel door in our rescue's Cat Room and they will leap at you - like they want a hug - but it is really over your shoulders (or under your arms) so they can run free in the Cat Room. They relish their game of tag and 'catch me if you can' with the volunteers. Being extra nimble, athletic, and yes - calculating, Lydia has shown that she really needs space to run around. But we think once she settles down and knows that she will not be 'caged' again, her evasiveness will diminish and a loving kitten will flourish. Oh, and she wanted this writer to add - she loves treats! What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
