About Dakota
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Dakota arrived at the shelter on January 6, 2025, together with her mom Tyra and her sibling Lotus from Fort Drum. Initially, they were very frightened, but thanks to patience and loving care, Dakota and her family have started to enjoy gentle pets and affection. However, Dakota still leans on the shy side and would feel safest in a quiet, calm home where her gentle spirit is respected. The bond between Dakota, Tyra, and Lotus is strong—they truly blossom in each other’s company. If you can open your heart and home to all three, you’ll be giving them the happiest future together. Dakota’s gentle nature will be most at ease surrounded by familiar faces and a peaceful environment. Born August 7, Dakota is a Leo—so even though she is timid right now, there’s a brave heart ready to shine with the right family. She’s hoping for a fresh start with trusted companions by her side. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
