What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY. Shannon arrived in NY on 2/21/26 and is staying with a foster family until she finds her forever home. Her foster family reports that she is great with dogs, cats and has been good with my the 5 year old daughter. She is very shy with people at first but once she warms up her funny personality comes out. She’s extremely fast and will zoom around the backyard, hopping over the other dogs as she goes. She loves to be close to the people that she knows and will often want to lay with them. She is working on house training still.
