About Ranger

Ranger arrived at Last Hope in Wantagh, NY, after a journey from Kentucky and is settling into a brand new place. At just a year old, he’s still finding his confidence and tends to be shy around new faces or toys. He doesn’t show food aggression and has kept to himself with other dogs so far—though as he becomes more comfortable, that could change. Ranger would do best in a home with children 10 and older who can respect his timid nature. He might get along well with a laid-back dog who doesn’t expect rough play and just wants to hang out. For now, Ranger is looking for someone patient who’ll give him the time to open up and discover what home really means. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
