He’s about a year and five months old and is neutered, house trained, and current on vaccinations. Flower is believed to be deaf, so he benefits from a home familiar with special needs dogs. He currently resides in Grants Pass, OR.

Meet Flower, a big, outgoing Shar-Pei/Mastiff mix with a lot of personality. At about a year and a half old and a robust 95 pounds, Flower is believed to be deaf, so he’ll need a bit of patience while settling into new routines and learning visual cues. Flower has lived peacefully with cats—he’s even been known to curl up and cuddle with them—and he’s done well around older, sturdy kids who can match his presence and energy. While he’s friendly toward everyone, his size and exuberance make him better suited for a home either without young children or with kids who are comfortable around large, active dogs. Housebroken and mostly familiar with crate routines, Flower might need some pointers getting used to a crate in a new home. At the shelter, he’s playful and good with other dogs, though his energy can be a lot for some—so a meet and greet with any resident pups is recommended.
