About Brownie

PLEASE READ BEFORE INQUIRING ABOUT BROWNIE In order to be considered, please apply at: https://form.jotform.com/240006793672154 Our kitties are fostered in the DFW metroplex in Texas but available for adoption and transport out of state. The adoption fee for Brownie is $325 BROWNIES BIO: *The Velcro Boy with the Golden Heart* Estimated to be 2–3 years old, Brownie is a breathtakingly handsome brown tabby DMH with the most luxurious, fluffy coat and a tail that deserves its own fan club. Seriously — he looks like he walked straight out of a storybook. But as gorgeous as he is on the outside, it’s his heart that will absolutely undo you. Personality: Pure Melted Chocolate Brownie is the definition of a Velcro kitty. He doesn’t just want to be near you — he wants to *be with you*. He will follow you from room to room like your soft, fluffy little shadow, waiting for the moment you sit down so he can climb into your lap and melt. Snuggles? Yes. Gentle head bumps? Absolutely. Soft little cries when he just wants love? Every time. He would thrive with a stay-at-home mama or daddy — someone who wants a constant companion, a couch cuddle buddy, and a loyal best friend who thinks the sun rises and sets with them. From Street Survivor to Snuggle King Brownie came from the streets, but you would never know it by how deeply grateful he seems to be for indoor life. He is so happy to be safe, warm, and loved. Watching him settle into comfort is something truly special. Gentle Soul with Other Cats Brownie is non-reactive with other cats. In fact, he is so gentle that if another kitty hisses, growls, or even bops him… he simply cries out in confusion. He has never retaliated. He would do well in a home with calm kitties or as your one-and-only devoted baby. FIV Positive — And Thriving Brownie is FIV positive, and we want to share what that really means. Cats with FIV can live long, full, completely normal lives. FIV is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds from unneutered fighting males — not through casual contact. It is not spread through sharing food bowls, litter boxes, grooming, or cuddling. FIV+ cats can safely live with non-FIV cats in peaceful homes — and Brownie’s gentle, non-reactive nature makes him an excellent example of this. Right now, Brownie is very healthy and doing wonderfully. With regular vet care and a loving indoor home, there is every reason to believe he will have many beautiful years ahead. Why Brownie is So Special There is something about him. Maybe it’s the way he looks up at you with those hopeful eyes. Maybe it’s the softness in his spirit. Maybe it’s how deeply he bonds. He is one of those once-in-a-while cats. The kind who changes your life quietly. The kind who makes your house feel like home. The kind who makes you wonder how you ever lived without him. Whoever adopts Brownie will be the luckiest mama or papa in the world — and he will spend every single day making sure you know it. ~~~~~~~ ~ Adopting with Jack of All Cats ~ At Jack of All Cats, we prioritize the perfect match over a first-come, first-served approach.
