If he's a little nervous at first, he might mark once while he figures things out, but he settles in quickly and becomes an easy, steady presence in the home. Z enjoys his daily walks, but he's not a whirlwind of energy. Think "let's stroll and observe the world" rather than "marathon training partner." He's happy to join you on outings, rides beautifully in the car, and carries himself like a dog who understands he represents the household. Food is very important to him. When Zion first arrived, he was far too thin, so he takes snacks seriously. Leave a sandwich unattended and he may consider it a community resource. The upside?
