About Hobo
Hobo is a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who’s facing the world anew after losing his lifelong home when his owner moved into retirement care. As a former outdoor dog, he’s discovered the simple pleasures of indoor life—blankets, climate control, and couches have quickly become his favorites. Despite the changes, Hobo’s gentle nature stands out. He greets every person with gratitude, soaks up affection, and leans in for those comforting scratches behind the ears, showing just how much he craves human connection. He’s blind in one eye, but that doesn’t slow him down. Hobo still navigates well and has plenty of enthusiasm left. Even in his golden years, he brings a touch of youthful energy and a lot of heart. He does need to be the only pet in his home—he wants all the attention for himself, and frankly, at this stage, he’s earned it. Hobo is heartworm positive and receiving active treatment, but what he really needs is a calm, loving home to help him heal and enjoy his senior days in comfort. A resilient older dog who bonds deeply, Hobo is ready for his next chapter. He’s waiting for someone to give him the restful home and companionship he needs to thrive. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
