**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics. Meet Romeo! Romeo is a 3-month-old Pyrenees/Hound mix who truly lives up to his name. He has a calm, affectionate nature and is an incredibly sweet, loving boy. He does great with other dogs and absolutely adores his foster brother. Additionally, Romeo walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring the outdoors. This smart boy has already learned to sit for treats and will politely sit in front of his foster mom when he wants one. He is currently working on his potty training and is making great progress every day. If you are looking for an adorable and sweet companion, Romeo is ready to steal your heart! Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
