Hi friends! I'm Starfish and I am a super sweet kitty despite the sad way I ended up at a rescue. I was living at an apartment complex with at least 20 other kitties and someone got tired of us and tried to poison us with rat poison :( . My pal Seaweed and I were the worst off so luckily a nice lady scooped us up and got us medical attention! We recovered just fine and don't have any lasting effects. I am a funny girl. I like to be pet and I will pull any trick to make it happen. I will show you my belly, turn up my purr motor as loud as a I can and roll around. And you better believe I give the best headbutts around! Despite having lived outside my whole life, I am actually incredibly friendly with humans and just want attention. Now that I don't have to try and survive out there, I am just happy in a window hammock or on the couch close to my foster mom. I really needed to put on some weight. I have put on a few pounds but am still working on a few more, I love to eat tho so it's not been a problem! Sometimes I can be a little sassy with other kitties, but with proper intros I actually do appreciate having other kitty friends around! I did live with a senior dog for a week and I mostly just avoided him. But he ignored me too, so it worked out. The vet thinks I am around 2 years old! All HPPL cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, FeLV/FIV/HW tested, microchipped and on flea and tick prevention. The adoption fee is $125.
