Looking for a quiet playful pup that will give you hugs and kisses without slobber ? Look no further than Lily ! She is your girl. Lily is a beautifully brindled shepherd/border collie mix. She is loyal, and has the perfect combination of playfulness and restraint. She gets along with older kids and some dogs, but not cats. She will get assertive with a dog if they try to dominate her. She rarely barks, but will do so when she hears something at the door. She loves chew toys, belly rubs, food, and people. Her favorite things are squirrels and tennis balls. She doesn't care for loud noises (fireworks) but doesn't seem to be bothered by thunder. She knows basic commands and is potty trained to use the outdoors and puppy pads. She is also a sneaky scamp and will try to sneak food. An assertive "NO" and a keen eye will deter her from collecting the forbidden treasure. She has been undergoing heartworm treatment (slow kill). She is being fostered by a wonderful family, but it's time for her to find that permanent home and family.
