As she approaches her 9th birthday, she carries herself with the quiet confidence of a girl who knows exactly what she likes in life: A comfy couch. A warm lap (or at least a leg to lean on). And her person nearby. At around 30 pounds, Patches is the perfect “just right” size — big enough to feel substantial when she curls up beside you, small enough to fit perfectly tucked against your side. She is mostly a lap dog… or at least a “pressed firmly against your hip” dog. Personal space? Optional. Warmth and love? Required.
