🐾 Rastus Rastus is a 3-year-old Idaho Shag with a loyal spirit and that signature scruffy charm the breed is known for. He and his sister Leza are entering rescue as their owner prepares to move into a senior center. It’s a difficult transition, and we are committed to making sure Rastus lands in a home where he’ll be cherished and well cared for. Rastus is neutered, good with cats, and friendly with adults. We are still gathering information about how he does with children. He has lived indoors but will need continued support with house training. He has never been kenneled, so patience and positive reinforcement will be important as he learns new routines. Like many working-breed mixes, Rastus is intelligent and capable — and when left without structure, he may invent his own fun.
