Kylo Ren is a deeply sweet and gentle soul who’s looking for a special kind of home. Originally adopted from Good Mews, Kylo was recently returned due to ongoing issues with urinating and defecating outside the litter box. We believe his struggles are tied to anxiety, and he will need a very patient, understanding adopter willing to help him feel safe and supported. Despite his challenges, Kylo Ren is incredibly loving on his own terms. He doesn't enjoy being picked up, but when you're sitting or lying down, he transforms into a snuggly, affectionate companion who just wants to be close. He especially loves curling up in bed or lounging on the couch with his humans. Kylo has a tiny, endearing meow that’s unexpected from such a big guy. He goes crazy for fresh catnip leaves (his favorite!) and has a blast chasing lasers around the room. Vet visits are tough for him—he becomes scared in a carrier and may scratch or have accidents—so a calm home environment with limited stressors would be ideal. Kylo Ren isn’t the right fit for every household, but for someone with a compassionate heart and the willingness to work with his anxieties, he will be a devoted and loving companion.
