9-year-old Cosmic was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program after her primary caregiver passed away. She weighs 10 lbs. and is a gentle and loving girl who enjoys being petted and snuggled. Cosmic recently returned from a Frosted Fling, and we learned a lot about what she is like in a home environment. Here's the scoop: Cosmic settled into her foster home immediately - no adjustment period needed! From the moment she arrived, she confidently checked out the resident dogs, sampled all the cozy dog beds (and the couch!), and made herself right at home. Cosmic is a foodie at heart and loves just about everything, but her favorites include fresh carrots, green leaf lettuce, apples, and cottage cheese as a topper. She's very polite while waiting for her snacks and takes them gently. For her age, Cosmic is impressively active and always ready for adventure. Just ask, "Where is your leash?" and she'll happily stand in front of you, waiting to get hooked up. She loves walks and gets ready in no time. Car rides are another favorite - she's a fantastic travel buddy! Cosmic is exceptionally well-behaved in public and soaks up attention wherever she goes. She even accompanied her foster to a store and handled it like a pro. At home, Cosmic enjoys perching on the highest part of the back of the couch so she can keep an eye on everything and everyone - a true little princess who also happens to love posing for pictures. Cosmic is full of personality and joy. She'll bring excitement, laughter, and so much love to the lucky family that welcomes her. Might that be you?
