Pookie entered San Jacinto Shelter after the police confiscated her from her home after her owner passed away. Pookie is a very sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl who gets along well with other dogs and had multiple kennel mates at the shelter. At 11 years old and 43 pounds, this brown brindle and white beauty has been a loving and loyal companion her entire life. While at the shelter, Pookie enjoyed a Dog Day Out (similar to our Frosted Field Trip program) and earned rave reviews for being a cuddly couch potato who walks nicely on leash and enjoys car rides. She loves soft treats, quiet company, and giving gentle kisses, especially after snack time! Low energy and easygoing, Pookie is happiest right by her person's side.
