About Jigs
Jigs is one of the Shamrock pups, recently opened for adoption along with her devoted mom, Dublin. Born just this January, Jigs is still a classic baby: lots of napping, occasional wobbles, and plenty of meal breaks. Early on, puppies like her are all about simple comforts and discovering their world a little at a time, so expect to spend those first months supporting house and basic training. Her lineage is still a fun mystery (DNA results pending), but her current look hints at a big, blocky-headed charmer with a short, manageable coat in unique brindle and bicolor markings. Jigs is social, already learning from her attentive mom, and should do well in homes with other dogs or children. She’s not house trained yet but responds enthusiastically to gentle guidance and affection. If you’re ready for a dog who will grow into a loyal companion, now’s your chance to get in on the ground floor. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!

Questions about Jigs
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Jigs, with her American Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador Retriever mix, will thrive in a home with enough space for play and supervision. A house with a securely fenced yard or access to regular walks would suit her best as she grows.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
As a large mixed-breed dog, Jigs will need regular access to a backyard or outdoor space where she can run and explore. Puppies especially benefit from safe places to play as their energy starts to build.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Both American Staffordshire Terriers and Labradors are known for being good with children. Jigs should do well in a home with kids, especially with gentle guidance and supervision during her puppy phase.
