About Benji
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Benji, a charming 5-year-old chihuahua mix whose exact heritage is a mystery—maybe there's some terrier or dachshund in the mix, but one thing is certain: he's 100% adorable. Benji is a compact little guy, weighing about 14 lbs with a short, long build, expressive brown eyes, and delightfully bendy ears. His short, soft coat in shades of cream and fawn makes him even more endearing. Benji is both house trained and crate trained, happily curling up in his crate for naps or quiet time whenever he needs it. He's shown he gets along very well with other dogs and previously lived harmoniously with a child, making him an excellent candidate for family life. While he may want to chase cats, his history with children and dogs is positive. Benji can be a little shy at first, needing a calm and quiet environment to feel safe before he’s ready for affection. But once he’s comfortable, Benji becomes an affectionate shadow, eager to snuggle on the sofa or join you for leisurely walks. Tummy rubs and gentle massages are his absolute favorites—he truly melts in your arms. If you're searching for a loyal companion who appreciates both quiet and cozy moments, Benji could be the perfect addition to your home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
