This is Benji, a 5 year old chihuahua mix. Mixed with what? Maybe terrier, maybe dachshund, it's hard to say. What we can say is he's 100% adorable. Benji weighs about 14 lbs, is kinda short and kinda long, with bendy ears and expressive brown eyes. Benji is house trained and crate trained. In fact he loves his crate and will go in for naps or if he needs some quiet time. He's gotten along really well with my dogs, but might want to chase cats. In his former home he was the pet of a child and got along well with her. It can take a while for Benji to feel safe in new situations, so his new family should be prepared to let him get comfortable before giving him a lot of attention. He needs calm and quiet first, affection later. Once he trusts you he will become your best buddy, wanting to be wherever you are, especially snuggling on the sofa or your favorite chair. He loves to go for walks. He really loves tummy rubs and massages, he just melts in your arms. Please consider making Benji part of your family.
