About Maxwell
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Maxwell is a resilient 7-year-old boy who hasn't had an easy start in life, but now he deserves nothing less than a future filled with comfort, love, and happiness. As a puppy, Maxwell experienced a traumatic leg injury that went untreated, causing years of pain and limited mobility. Despite many medical efforts, the only way forward was to amputate his injured leg. The bright side is that Maxwell has adapted beautifully; since he couldn't use his leg much before, he moves better now and is noticeably more comfortable and at ease. He relishes attention from people, enjoys playing with toys, loves walks, and delights in splashing around in water. At the end of the day, nothing beats lounging on a soft, cozy bed for Maxwell. He is loyal, loving, and would truly thrive as the only pet in his home, as he prefers not to share his space with other dogs. Maxwell needs someone who will see the strength in his past and offer him a safe, loving home where he is cherished for who he is. With your care, his future can be brighter than ever. A fun fact: born on March 24th, Maxwell is an Aries, known for determination and courage—traits he displays every day. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
