Whisper and Lyric are five-year-old miniature poodle sisters in search of a safe, loving home after spending their entire lives as breeder dogs. For years, their world was limited to crates and puppies, but now they’re finally learning how to just be dogs. Lyric, the more outgoing of the two, walks right up for affection and never misses a chance to be part of the fun. She’s playful, enjoys being with people, and lights up around other dogs. Whisper, on the other hand, is shy but not fearful—simply new to the world outside her crate. She tracks Lyric closely, observing and learning before joining in, and needs time and understanding as she gains confidence. The best home for these sisters is patient and calm, with someone who values earned trust over quick progress. Another confident dog in the household could speed up Whisper’s progress. Though they stick together now, Lyric and Whisper do not require joint adoption, but a discounted adoption fee is available for anyone willing to take both. Watching them build new lives together would be something to remember. They missed out on the first five years they deserved, but there’s still time for joy.
