About Pearl
PEARL! Pearl has the looks and personality to safely say she is the South Sea Mikimoto of pearls! And if you know a thing about pearls, you know what I’m talking about! Pearl is perfect in every aspect. She is 1 year old and 14-16 lbs. Still young, but not a puppy puppy, and not too big and not too small! She fits well in a dog bag and is easily portable (and she proved herself to be an excellent and well-behaved traveling companion on the flight from Puerto Rico too!). She is a smidge smaller than her sister, Cloud, who is also up for adoption with us! We think Pearl is a likely mix of Westie, Cairn Terrier and perhaps Petit Bassett! That's our best guess. Pearl has more hairlike hair than fur and at times it can get tousled on her head in such a way that makes her adorably look like she may have stuck her digit in a socket. ***PEARL IS BEING FOSTERED IN ANNAPOLIS AND IS READY FOR A MEET & GREET!*** Pearl is well-socialized with everyone! She loves other dogs and plays well! She loves people, including children, and loves to cuddle and nuzzle. We have not observed any behavior that would indicate she wouldn't be good with cats with a proper introduction either. Pearl is up to date on all vaccinations, is spayed and is heartworm negative. Feel free to email us with any questions! Thank you for considering her! The best fit for the dog is our priority! Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog. In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
