About Wynken
***MUST REMAIN AN INDOOR CAT*** Wynken is a handsome little orange and white tabby boy with a thoughtful expression and a playful spark just waiting to shine. At first, he can be a tiny bit head shy and may seem a little standoffish — he just likes to take a moment to make sure the world (and you!) are safe. But give him a little patience and kindness, and you’ll see his true personality bloom. Once Wynken feels comfortable, he turns into a loving, purring machine. He adores rubbing up against you to claim you as his person, and his loud, happy purr will let you know you’ve earned his trust. He’ll even start chatting with you in the sweetest little voice once he gets used to you — he has opinions to share and stories to tell! Playtime is where Wynken truly shines. He goes wild for the wand toy, leaping and twirling with kitten enthusiasm. He’s also a big fan of climbing his wall-mounted scratch board, showing off his athletic skills, and he can often be found gazing out the window, watching the world go by like it’s his favorite TV show. Wynken will thrive with a patient, understanding family who will give him the time he needs to feel secure. In return, he’ll reward you with affection, playfulness, and devoted companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet boy whose love is worth the wait, Wynken is ready to find his forever home. Wynken's date of birth is 05/11/2025. All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee. (Local adoptions only.) The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. A home inspection is required prior to all cat adoptions. Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following: • A video of the inside of your home showing where the cat will be living, where his litter box, bowls, etc., will be placed • Veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations for your cats, and heartworm prevention and vaccinations for any dogs. • If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions If you are interested in adopting one our rescues, please submit an adoption application at https://www.fayettefcar.com/ready-to-adopt, where you can also review FCAR’s adoption requirements.
