Jasper was trapped in a homeowner’s yard in Enfield and is what we lovingly call a spirit cat — not truly feral, but not exactly friendly right away either. Jasper is: • Best as an only pet (not a fan of cats or dogs) • Timid but not aggressive • Comfortable with gentle pets on his head and cheeks • Not a lap cat — he prefers his space and independence • A big fan of safe hidey spots (cozy beds, covered enclosures, and especially his cozy crate in foster — it’s his comfort zone) An adult only home Because Jasper is shy and needs someone who understands cats like him, we’re looking for an adopter with cat experience, patience, and a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace.
