About Lucky
Lucky is a 60-pound Lab mix with an easygoing, affectionate spirit. He was abandoned and ended up seeking help until a volunteer brought him to safety. Now neutered, heartworm negative, and fully vetted, Lucky is healthy and ready for his next chapter. He’s got that classic Lab warmth—gentle with people, eager to please, and always happy to be included. Lucky enjoys rope toys, tennis balls, and staying close to his favorite humans. He thrives with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and really shines in a home where people want to be around him. Social by nature, he’s not a dog who wants to be left out of the action. Lucky is kennel trained, and he’s picked up basic commands like “sit” and “down.” He’s currently working on “stay,” and he makes training feel easy because he’s smart and motivated. A family with time for daily engagement will see him continue to blossom. His paws are healed and, today, Lucky is simply a healthy, happy dog looking for a committed family or person. He’d do best in a stable home where he gets plenty of attention. If you’re searching for a loyal sidekick with a genuinely sweet nature, Lucky is ready to join you.
