About Gracie Pearl & Coco
Gracie Pearl is a petite lab mix with an old soul’s temperament. At about 30 lbs, she carries herself with a sort of gentle calm rarely found in a young dog. Gracie is deaf—it adds to her sense of quiet introspection, but mostly, she’s just unfailingly sweet and seems to look to others for reassurance and connection. She gets along with everyone: big or small, whether animal or human. On walks or hikes, Gracie prefers to stay close by, always tagging along and never far from your side. She’s the ultimate cuddler, choosing to curl up right against you or tucking in beside her favorite dog friends if your lap isn’t free. Playful, curious, and eager to be with others, she truly thrives around other dogs and has formed a close bond with Coco, another rescue dog—ideally, they’ll find a home together. Gracie does well in a busy foster home full of dogs, and she loves her toys and chews. No experience with deaf dogs? No problem—Gracie already knows some sign language and is motivated by praise. She’ll do especially well with someone ready to use hand cues and keep learning together. Gracie’s quiet presence and soft nature make her one of those dogs who seems to bring calm wherever she goes.
