Jasper is a 4 year old pit bull mix who came to us from our friends at Northampton Animal Control. While we don't have much information about his past, we've quickly learned that he is a sweet, friendly, and delightfully goofy guy. Jasper is the definition of a couch potato. He loves to lounge by your side, soak up attention, and make you laugh with his silly personality. He enjoys spending time with people and is happy just being part of whatever you're doing - especially if it involves a comfy spot to relax. We do not have any history of Jasper living with other dogs. He has shown curiosity and interest when seeing them, so we recommend dog meets prior to adoption to ensure a good fit. If you're looking for a lovable, laid-back companion with a playful streak, Jasper may be the perfect match. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
