Rose was a cruelty case that the shelter investigated and took into their care. They asked if we would take her because of all she had been through. She is sweet, adorable and just quiet and shy but she is a new arrival. She is 2 to 3 years old and weighs 14 lbs. She was emaciated when she was taken from the shelter. Her favorite thing? Being in your lap! We want to find her a forver home where her owners are home more than not. She is a treasure. From observation so far, Rose will need to be an only dog. She gets territorial of the people she is around and has gone after my little ones. She can be around other dogs but should be an only dog. She sleeps well in the kennel if it is covered. She isn't fully house trained, she loves toys (complete understatement) and craves attention. Not surprising since she was a victim of cruelty in her previous home. When she gets excited she sounds like a gremlin with her snorting. She just wants to be loved and wants a human's approval. She walks great on leash and is a slow eater as everything around her gets her attention.
