Eleanor (Ellie, aka Ellie Belly) arrived at our fosters on Christmas Day: Christmas Day is usually a day of warmth and gifts, but for Eleanor, it was about survival. Found shivering and starving on the coldest day of the year, this resilient girl was saved. Since then, her life has been a series of "firsts": her first warm bed, her first full bowl of food, and her first time feeling safe. Eleanor is learning to be a cat and learning about love. She is now a snuggler who will happily claim your lap for hours. She’s discovered the joy of being brushed and loves being pet, she follows you around with sweet curiosity. It’s a reminder of how far she’s come. She is playful, affectionate, and ready to trade her "stray" status for a permanent place in your heart.
