Meet Penny, a 10-year-old female domestic shorthair who is available for adoption at CCHS! Penny was originally relinquished due to having some litterbox inconsistencies in the home. However, diagnostic testing was done and no medical issues were found, so we believe that her potty issues ensued because she did not like another other cat in the home. Valid - sometimes roommates are a rough time! Penny is also a little quirky for a kitty in that she stands to urinate, but a large, high-sided litterbox is a great solution for this! If you do have another kitty friend in your home, we'd recommend slow, calm introductions so that Penny can feel as comfortable as possible! Penny is a sweetheart who enjoys attention from people. She loves head scratches and will headbutt your hand for more pets. She'd be a great girl for someone looking for a calm, relaxed, low-key kitty who wants to lounge and cuddle!
