Peanut is small but commands attention everywhere he goes. While heās got the looks that draw you ināa classic Australian kelpie and blue heeler mix with short, bicolor-brindle furāheās much more than adorable. Peanutās energy runs high, and he needs real exercise every day, not just a lap around the block. If you slack, heāll let you know by getting into mischief. A securely fenced yard is non-negotiable for this guy, and heās happiest with lots of attention and involvement in daily plans. Peanut is sharp, eager, and has a will of steel. He lights up when heās got something funāor challengingāto work on. He went through a month of intensive training, picking up basic commands, learning focus, and responding well to structure. His adopter will need to attend a training session with the professional trainers so Peanut keeps making progress. Peanut does well with cats, provided theyāre not pushovers. He likes playing with other dogs but will only thrive as an only dog in the house. Children are fine, but Peanut absolutely needs someone experiencedāif youāre after a cute, low-maintenance companion, this is not your match. Heād make a fantastic agility or trail dog, and could absolutely thrive on a farm as long as heās part of the family and not just left outside. Indoors, Peanut is well behaved, isnāt much of a barker, enjoys toys, and walks on a leash without issue.
