About Dipper

Dipper the pup that came in scared of everything, skinny, and desperation in his eyes. Looking at him now you would have never known just how scared and unsure her was because he is just the most loving dog around. He is still shy at first with new people or places but he tries his very best to be a brave boy and tackle on the things that scare him with a little bit of time. Dipper loves people and other dogs and will try his very best to befriend all he can. Once he is comfortable his goofy personality really shines and it is easy to see how he is able to win the hearts of the staff, volunteers, and fosters that met him. From a foster: Meet Dipper, the SWEETEST doggy who will win your heart in seconds! He is shy at first, but so loving once he gets to know you. Dipper is chill, very quiet, and low maintenance. He likes to lay on the couch and watch tv, or sniff around outside. He is a very good boy when left home alone, he's had no accidents inside the house - we haven't even been using a crate! Dipper would work great if you're looking for a companion who is easy to care for. He'll be your best friend - Dipper is the BEST BOY EVER!!! Another Foster: This guy will steal your heart. Dipper is a sweet and shy pup who can sometimes be scared of his own shadow. When we first got him he was so nervous and didn't even want to walk inside our front door. However, after a few days he began to trust us and that was the most rewarding thing ever. His puppy like personality exploded. He loves to get the zoomies when we let him out to potty and love to play with his foster sister june. He is the most stretchy dog I have ever seen and has his own unique way of walking and getting on/off furniture (it is something you must experience in person). He keeps us smiling and he continues to trust us more and more each day. Recently he has started to wag his tail and do a little happy dance when I get home, it is precious. Initially when we got him, he had some crate anxiety. He would bark a little and scratch at the cage. But this behavior dissipated after about a week as he started to understand our routine. Now when we leave he gets in his crate with no problem! We are working on leash walking (he is a bit of a puller), he seems to do better with a harness. We love him and I think he would be perfect in a home with children/ other animals. He is the most patient and gentle friend you will ever meet.
