About Taco
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Nacho and Taco are siblings who share a deep bond and love to play together, though they do not need to be adopted as a pair. If both sets of future owners are interested, the shelter is happy to connect you for fun playdates or meet-ups! Taco is an energetic black and white pit bull mix who is a spayed female, approximately 6 years and 5 months old. She came to the shelter when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Taco is potty trained and brimming with energy, making her a wonderful companion for someone with prior pet-owning experience. Although she is still learning to walk nicely on a leash, shelter staff are happy to share tips and training advice for helping Taco become a comfortable walking buddy. She would also benefit from simple obedience training, which can help strengthen the bond and improve communication between her and her adopter. A standard-height fence is recommended to help keep Taco safely in the yard. She has shown she can be good with men, women, and children, but hasn't been extensively tested with other dogs or cats at the shelter (though staff suggest she may not be a good match for homes with cats due to her lack of feline experience). Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
