About Rudy
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Rudy! Rudy is a striking, golden-colored boy who was saved just in time from a difficult situation. Despite his rough beginnings, Rudy has flourished into an affectionate, human-friendly companion. He's diligently working on his confidence around other dogs in his training classes, thriving under the guidance of an assertive handler. Rudy finds joy in simple pleasures—he loves car rides and quickly settles in for the journey after a gentle reminder. He is both crate and house trained, making him a polite addition to any home. One of Rudy’s adorable quirks is his habit of carrying his bowl when hungry and toting a stuffed toy around for playtime. On walks, he’s great on a leash and listens well to commands. Due to his strong prey drive, Rudy would do best in a cat-free household, and at this time, he should be the only dog in his new home with children over the age of 10, as he likes to greet with enthusiastic whole-body wags and friendly paws. Fun fact: with a birthday on February 14, Rudy is an Aquarius, a sign known for being loving, loyal, and smart. If you’re ready to welcome a devoted and playful friend into your family, Rudy could be your perfect fit. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
