About Claire Bear

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Claire! This sweet three-year-old, 50-pound girl arrived at the rescue expecting her 'storybook litter,' and now that her puppies are thriving, Claire is ready for a loving home of her own. Claire is a laid-back companion who loves relaxing car rides and unwinding with her people. She's incredibly affectionate, enjoys meeting new people, and will happily soak up as much attention as you can giveβ€”she's a cuddler who truly believes she's a lapdog! While she's polite and well-behaved out in public (she especially enjoys grass and attending baseball games), Claire does have a prey drive and is not suitable for homes with small animals. She gets along with dogs of similar energy but prefers not to interact with overly dominant or pushy dogs, so a doggy playdate is recommended for multi-dog households. Claire is searching for a family that will appreciate her loving personality. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate friend, Claire could be the perfect companion for you! Fun fact: with a birthday in October, Claire is a balanced, friendly Libra who loves harmony and time with people. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
