This is a very rare and special dog. A purebred Skye Terrier. He is sweet, funny and well behaved. He weighs about 30 lbs, but he looks small middle sized, and stands about 10 inches tall. Dodger came to us because his owner had to go into an assisted care home. He's affectionate, and loves to cuddle. He's about 7 years old, and has lots of life left in him. He would be a great dog for a retired person or couple. He knows stuff. He gets along well with my other animals. When I say, "Are you hungry?" He tilts his head to the left. Say it again, he tilts to the right. He knows, "Out, out out?" If you take him out he will go. He's crate trained, but let's face it. He deserves to sleep on your bed. He does not snore. He loves to cuddle on your lap an watch tv with you. He's calm. He hasn't played with my dogs yet, but he's only been here 1 day. He seems much more interested in me, than in my dogs. He follows me around the house. He has an interesting bark, with an interesting pitch. He sounds like a hoot owl when he barks, and that isn't often. He is alert and should be a good watch dog. This dog is healthy and has been well taken care of. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. Microchipped. We do home visits. Dodger likes to tool around in my yard, so we'd like a yard for him. Skye Terriers don't need much trimming, but they do need to be brushed daily so their beautiful coat stays untangled.
