Felicia is a 13lb female Yorkie/Maltese mix that's about 1 to 2-years old. She is dog friendly and very affectionate once she feels safe, but she is a sensitive, anxious girl who likely struggles with fear of abandonment. She needs a calm, quiet, adultsonly home (no kids) with someone who is home often at first. She will benefit from a family that has a predictable routine, and understands that nervous rescue dogs need time and patience to settle. Felicia is not a good fit for firsttime or "easy dog" seekers; rather her ideal adopter will have prior experience with anxious or fearful dogs and be genuinely willing to work with a positivereinforcement trainer or behavior professional if needed. She is in a foster home which helps us know more about her personality and needs. Felicia is vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed before adoption.
