About Pepper

Think you are the one? Submit an application! Pepper is an approximately 2–3 year old gal with a lot to say — and she absolutely means it. This expressive, talkative girl has a big personality and isn’t shy about sharing her opinions. She’ll greet you, chat about her day, and confidently make herself part of the household routine. Pepper is affectionate in her own way. She’ll roll over to show her belly, lean in for attention, and enjoy interactive time with her person. But she’s also a cat who values her boundaries. She can become overstimulated with too much petting and will let you know when she’s had enough with a gentle nip and a push of a paw. She prefers to initiate lap time, though doesn’t mind if you pick her up and hold her for a short snuggle session every so often. Pepper would be happiest with someone who understands cat body language and respects her space. She likes to be the only cat in the home and is not a good match for young children. She is ideal for someone who wants a more independent companion — a cat to hang out with, talk to, play with, and coexist alongside rather than constantly hold. She brings confidence, sass, and charm, and in the right home, she’ll form a strong, loyal bond. Pepper is healthy and has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and treated for fleas and worms. She is litter box trained and uses her scratch posts diligently.
