About Cashew

Cashew packs a lot of personality into her small, sturdy frame. She’s got a beautiful blond-and-white coat and a classic French Bulldog face that’s impossible to ignore. Affectionate and attention-seeking, Cashew is happiest when someone’s scratching her belly or she’s wriggled into your lap. She walks well on leash and loves her strolls, but she really shines when life is simple and the environment is calm. Cashew thrives as the only pet and isn’t fond of sharing her space, toys, or meals with other dogs or young children. She prefers to settle into a home where she can reign as queen bee, ideally one without lots of visitors as she can be reserved with new people. It took some time to bounce back from her rough start, but now she’s full of health and spirit. She’s house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and her vaccines are up to date. Cashew is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, and her care will continue to be covered by the rescue until she’s fully recovered. This is a loyal companion ready to brighten up your days and claim a spot right next to you. Abandoned Pet Rescue is a no-kill animal shelter in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
