Finley is approximately one year old. This cute and playful pup was found as a stray, so we don't know anything about his background. He can be shy with men when he first meets them, but is friendly and playful once he gets to know you. He was very well-behaved for his vet exam. He walks very well on a leash and knows a few commands. He will be neutered on 3/5 and will be ready for adoption after that. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application here: medfieldshelter.com/adopt If a dog is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption; however, there may be applications ahead of yours. We typically receive many applications for every dog we post. All adoption meetings are by appointment. Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs aged seven months to seven years old, and $250 for dogs aged eight years and older. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is treated for worms, ticks, and fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to be considered for a dog in our care. With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
