They are the original organic pest control, and can patrol and protect their homes from larger wildlife. Barn cats don't need a lot of attention but still need some attending to -- routine feedings and fresh water, a warm den, and clean box is a good way too establish a trusting relationship. Before you know it, you'll catch glimpses of your favorite grouchy worker who's too busy to talk.
