Hi, our names are Scarlet and Nova! We are PURPLE pawprints, which means we will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for us in our new home: -Personality: Scarlet is shy but sweet, sensitive, independent, mellow, wallflower. Nova is active, friendly, playful, and affectionate. -Can Live with Cats: Yes. Scarlet and Nova came in as a pair and are required to be adopted together. Introductions with any resident kitties will need to be slow and structured. -Can Live with Dogs: No thanks -Can Live with Kids: Cat-savvy and gentle kids ages 10+ -Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, Scarlet and Nova have been indoor-only their whole lives. -History of Litter Box Issues: No -Energy Level: Low/medium -Bite History: No -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No for Scarlet, but Nova needs a spay before going home! Additional Information: Scarlet and Nova are a bonded pair of sisters who were surrendered to the shelter due to landlord issues. Scarlet is the shyer of the two and finds comfort in her sister, which is why we are requiring they be adopted as a pair. Scarlet would do best in a nice quiet home where she feels safe and can adjust at her own pace. She hides most of the day while here at the shelter, but does seem to enjoy attention in the form of gentle cheek scritches. Both Scarlet and Nova came to us with irritated skin - we think from having fleas / a flea allergy. This should resolve on its own, but they should have regular flea treatments to make sure it doesn't happen again.
