Laila is ready for her surgery day! Today she will be spayed and have her “cherry eye” fixed. Laila was abandoned in a park to fend for herself a few weeks ago, then taken to the city shelter. She was not reclaimed so the shelter put out a rescue and Wescue volunteers hustled to get her out before it was too late. Now that Laila has had time to decompress, we are taking care of her vet needs and will find her the loving home she deserves. Is it with you? Laila is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs a little over 20 lbs. She is crate trained, appears to be house trained, and walks well on a leash. She is nervous of new people and sudden movements, so we are looking for a stable, all-adult home for her.
