About John Doe

Some stories begin with a name. His began without one. John Doe found his way to Noah's Arc in the quietest, saddest way—left behind in a carrier at our gate. No note. No explanation. Just a pair of breathtaking blue eyes peering out, wondering what came next. What came next was safety. And love. And a second chance. This gentle giant is as soft in spirit as he is in size. With his striking blue eyes and calm demeanor, John Doe has a way of melting into your arms as if he’s been waiting his whole life for that moment. He doesn’t ask for much—just a warm lap, a steady hand to pet him, and a place where he never has to wonder if he belongs again. John Doe isn’t defined by how he arrived. He’s defined by how he loves—quietly, deeply, and with his whole heart. He’s ready to trade that carrier for a couch, that uncertainty for security, and that lonely gate for a forever home. Could you be the one to give John Doe the name—and the happily ever after—he truly deserves? 🩵 All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, current on flea and tick treatments, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary exams. Dogs are heartworm negative and cats are combo tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible. Noah’s Arc is manned by volunteers, the shelter is not open to the public. Meet and greets for the animals are by appointment only.
