About Cato
Cato is a 1-year-old, 3-month-old neutered male mixed breed whoās been at MACC in Nashville since February. Weighing in around 60 lbs, heās got a lot of youthful energy and thrives where he gets clear boundaries, training, and structure. Cato has been working hard with staff and volunteers to refine his mannersālearning to manage his excitement and discover better ways to interact, especially during playtime. He still needs continued guidance to channel that energy appropriately and will benefit from an adopter willing to keep up with his progress. Cato does not currently get along with dogs, cats, or young children, so heās best placed as the only pet in an adult home. Heās not yet house trained and will need patience, but heās food motivated, athletic, and ready for a fresh start. Fun fact: Cato was born February 15th, which makes him an Aquariusāindependent and bright! Give Cato the structured, positive environment heās been waiting for and see just how far he can go. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
