About Harley
Harley is a friendly shorthaired brown-tabby boy, about six years old, who lost the only home he'd ever known when the person who meant the world to him gave him up after getting pregnant-- as if that's some kind of excuse. Naturally, he was quite traumatized by this experience. Thanks to the patience of his fosters, Harley soon showed himself to be quite an affectionate boy-- to humans at least. To other cats... not so much. He's not a fan of other cats, so he should be the sole feline Prince in his new domain. Harley's generally a rub-up-against-you cat and a curl-up-next-to-you cat. We haven’t seen him around dogs or children yet. We think he'd do fine with kids who know how to be respectful to cats. Nearly all cats are OK with kids like that. Harley would do best in an interactive home where he isn’t left alone for long hours. Whoever is fortunate enough to adopt this boy will gain a devoted companion for life. Harley seems like an easy cat who would be suitable for a first-time adopter. He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. His adopter will receive his medical records. He’s being fostered in Boston'. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. In Harley's case, it's a mere $165-- a bargain for a new best friend who will love you for the rest of his life. Cats can live up to 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with your phone number and a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps rescuers match cats with the right adopters. .
