Thunder was found as a stray during a thunderstorm (hence the name) and got a second chance when he was adopted from a local shelter. Unfortunately, his nose- and instincts- have gotten him into trouble. Thunder has discovered that chickens are delicious and very exciting to chase, and his current home can't keep him because of it. He's friendly with people, does well with other dogs, and has been around kids from toddler age up through pre-teen. He'll tolerate cats, but birds and poultry are an absolute no unless it's for lunch. Thunder is smart, playful, and loves a ball and chew toys. He’s been primarily an outdoor dog, so he may need some guidance with house manners- but at just a year old, he's very capable of being a very good boy- he just needs consistency and patience.
