About Mochi
Mochi is a four-month-old Chihuahua/Puggle mix who’s been through more than most pups her age. Abandoned in a box at a park and left for days, she arrived to foster care as a shaking little ball of nerves. It didn’t take long for her spark to come back; after a bath and meeting other dogs, Mochi quickly started playing, grinning, and holding her own even with the big dogs. She really enjoys wrestling and playtime with others, and she has no problem fitting in with a pack despite being the smallest. She’s sweet with people, always up for cuddles, and does great with kids. Mochi sleeps right beside you and gives plenty of affection. She’s potty pad trained, but too young to be spayed just yet—her surgery will be covered by the rescue after her first heat cycle wraps up. Mochi carries a few physical reminders of her rough start: scar tissue on her left ear from an old injury (it won’t affect her hearing, although it’s now misshapen) and a tail broken in two places, which she still wags expressively whenever she’s happy. Her trust in people never faded, and she remains loving, playful, and loyal. Ready to move on from her past, Mochi is searching for a home where she’ll be valued and loved. Ready to fall in love?
