They are medium-sized and house trained. Daisy is deaf, so a gentle adopter is needed. Together, they offer a devoted companionship shaped by years of caring for each other.
About Daisy & Foley
Daisy & Foley are a bonded pair who met as older puppies in rescue and have been inseparable ever since. Daisy is deaf, with striking blue eyes, and though she needs a moment to adjust when coming in from bright sunlight, she carries herself with confidence. Foley acts almost like her guide, showing Daisy when it’s time to come or go, helping her stay oriented, and always sticking close. Their friendship is easy to spot—they love to play in the yard, explore together, and settle nearby their people. Both dogs are spayed, vaccinated, crate trained, and affectionate with humans, though they may hang back a bit until they feel safe. They do well with other calm, respectful dogs after proper introductions: their best friends in rescue have been gentle, older males. Daisy’s hearing impairment means she isn’t a good fit with cats, puppies, or small dogs who might not signal boundaries clearly. These girls have been waiting in rescue for five years; they need a patient home, a secure yard, and a commitment to keeping them together. Adoption is for the Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Los Alamos, White Rock, or Rio Rancho area only. A reduced adoption fee is available for this pair. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
