I’ll be honest with you right away... the leash and I? We’re not exactly best friends. I’m still figuring that whole “walk politely beside you” thing out, and sometimes I’m not sure what all the fuss is about. New environments can feel a little overwhelming, and I may need patience, encouragement, and some gentle guidance to build my confidence out there. But when it comes to loving you? I’m a total natural. I fall in love quickly. Give me a little kindness, a soft voice, maybe a tasty treat (okay, definitely a tasty treat), and my heart is yours. Treats are one of my favorite things! They help me learn, help me trust, and honestly just make my tail wag like crazy. Once I feel comfortable, my true favorite place to be is right in your lap. I’m a world-class cuddler. I’ll curl up small, lean into you, and look up with those soft, loving eyes that say, “You’re my person.” I might take a little help with leash skills, but when it comes to affection, loyalty, and being your devoted little shadow, I’ve already mastered that. I just need someone patient enough to teach me the outside world isn’t so scary and in return, I’ll give you all the love, snuggles, and treat-motivated devotion my heart can hold.
