My original owners couldn't keep me in their apartment. Family took me in, but they think I would do best as the only dog in the home. They have a female dog in the home who I can be very dominant over. I'm shy when first meeting new dogs and do great at dog parks with all dogs. I've never been around cats, but they think I would probably be afraid of them. I am crate-trained, paper-trained, and will sit on command for a treat. I'm a very sweet boy who is a bundle of energy and loves to play but I also enjoy cuddling and a comfy lap to curl up in. Although I'm great with children, I'd do best in a home with older children as I tend to growl if someone takes something away from me, but I've never bitten. I also do like to nibble on shirt sleeves. I'm a good protector at home and I'll bark if I sense anything out of the ordinary. I love to go every where with my people, whether it's to a restaurant, the dog park, or on a car trip and I walk well on a leash, making me the perfect companion for all your outings.
